Privacy policy
Last updated October 29, 2026.
This website is run by MageCap Games, the developer of MythMogul. The short version: no ads, no analytics, no tracking cookies, and we collect only what we need to run early testing.
Visiting the site
The site is hosted by Cloudflare. Like every web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. We don't use that data to identify or track you. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
All fonts and images are served from this site. We don't load anything from Google, social networks or advertisers.
Early-tester sign-ups
When you sign up to test, we collect what you enter: your first name, email address, optional Discord username, confirmation that you're 18 or older, your computer's Windows version, processor, graphics and memory, your testing experience and favorite games, and how much time you could play.
We use this only to choose testers, send approval codes and contact you about testing. Your computer details also help us test the game on different kinds of PCs. Your sign-up is stored with Cloudflare and emailed to us through our email provider, Zoho Mail (see Zoho's privacy policy). We don't sell or share it with anyone else.
Sign-ups we don't approve are deleted after we review them, and unread ones delete themselves after 180 days. If you're approved, we keep your details for as long as you're a tester and delete them when testing ends or when you ask us to.
Approval codes and the one cookie we use
When you enter a valid approval code, your browser stores one cookie called __Host-mm_access. It only remembers that you're an approved tester, so you don't have to retype your code. It lasts 30 days, can't be read by scripts, and is never used for tracking. Choosing Sign out removes it. Because the site can't work without it, it doesn't need a consent banner.
We note the last time each code was used, so we can see which testers are active.
Reviews
Approved testers can submit reviews. We store the name you choose, your star rating, your text and the time you sent it. We don't store your IP address or email with it. Reviews wait in a private queue until we read them; approved reviews are published on this site with your chosen name. Unread reviews delete themselves after 90 days.
Spam protection
The sign-up and review forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that you're a person. Cloudflare says it doesn't use this data to target ads. See Turnstile's privacy policy.
Downloads
Game files are hosted on GitHub. When you download from there, GitHub's privacy statement applies.
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply, and don't share them.
Your rights
You can ask what data we hold about you, and ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@mythmogul.com.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
